Roasted Maple Cabbage: A Simple and Delicious Dish




You'll need:


  1. One fresh green cabbage

  2. Extra virgin olive oil spray

  3. 1 tbsp Smoked salt (or regular salt)

  4. 1.5 tbsp Smoked paprika

  5. Maple syrup



Make it:




  1. Wash cabbage and slice long ways into thick slices

  2. Place cabbage on parchment paper-lined baking tray. Please use biodegradable and compostable parchment paper for your safety and for our environment :-)

  3. Spray or brush each slice lightly with olive oil - (how to know if your olive oil is the real thing)

  4. Sprinkle each slice with smoked salt and smoked paprika (use as much smoked paprika to your taste)

  5. Roast in the oven at 400 degrees for ~ 35 minutes, or until cabbage is soft and tender in the middle. The cabbage should be very easy to pull apart.

  6. Drizzle maple syrup over each slice (feel free to sing the Canadian national anthem during this process).

  7. Enjoy and do a happy dance as the deliciousness saturates your tastebuds.
